Creating meaningful social impact

Stewardship of the communities in which we live and serve has been an integral part of the cultural fabric of Hudson Bay Insulation Company. To further the philanthropic ideals of the Company, a private charitable foundation has been established. Through The Hudson Bay Way Foundation, the Company supports organizations that promote education, health, and wellness opportunities for children and members of our community.

As an employee of Hudson Bay Insulation Company, you have the opportunity to participate in the Company’s charitable giving in multiple ways. Employee Directed Giving which is available through authorized payroll deductions is one way. Employees can provide funding to various organizations through The Hudson Bay Way Foundation. The Foundation is also offering a Mini-Grant Program to support charitable organizations in which children of HBI employees are involved.

Employee Mini Grant Program

The Hudson Bay Way Foundation has created a Mini Grant Program specifically for organizations that the children of Hudson Bay Insulation Company employees participate in. Promoting educational and wellness opportunities for children is a primary function of The Hudson Bay Way Foundation (THBWF), therefore, by supporting the school, sports teams and extracurricular activities of our employees’ children we hope to encourage participation.

The Foundation will offer a total of 10 Mini Grants, each in the amount of $0 to $250. Applications will be accepted year-round to encompass activities throughout the year. Information will be distributed to employees through the Company newsletter, on the website, and through flyers to insure that all employees receive the opportunity to participate. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Awards will be made at the discretion of the Board.

Charitable Giving

Annually The Hudson Bay Way Foundation and its employees support charitable organizations throughout the communities in which we live and serve. The Hudson Bay Way Foundation will match a contribution to a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization made by company employees up to a total of $200 per employee per year. Make an even bigger impact on your charitable giving by requesting a match to your elected organization.

Our Impact

Once again, thanks to increased employee directed giving and participation, The Hudson Bay Way Foundation was able to expand support to our communities by 25% from the previous year! Thank you one and all for giving back.
