Essential Functions

  • Answering phones, distributing to co-workers, and assisting customers.
  • Opening and distributing the daily mail and taking the outgoing mail to the post office.
  • Assisting with employee engagement communications, organization, and other creative projects.
  • Creating electronic Safety Manuals daily based on new jobs email and printing hard copies when requested into a 3-ring binder.
  • Creating Foreman Folders when requested by printing a hard copy and placing in a 3-ring binder.
  • Data input and scanning as requested (e.g., retention billing, certified payroll, etc.).
  • Assisting project managers with time and materials billings.
  • Daily monitoring of office equipment for paper replacement, ink cartridge replacement, etc.
  • Ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
  • Designing, creating, and maintaining the HBI company website.
  • Managing social media accounts by tracking digital presence, creating posts, responding to comments and engaging with followers (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).

  • Highly detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Work Environment

This job operates in an on-site, drug-free workplace, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time in-office position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7am – 3:30pm.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Two to three years of previous experience in a similar position

Classification

Full-time, non-exempt, non-safety sensitive, hourly position

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary Range: $28 - $33 an hour (placement within the range is based on experience and qualifications)
  • Group Medical/Dental/Vision/Basic Life, AD&D and EAP Benefits
    • 100% paid by employer for employee only
    • 50% paid by employer for dependents
  • 401k Tax-Deferred Retirement Plan with 3% company safe harbor contribution
  • Paid Vacation starting at 10 days per year
  • 7 paid Sick leave days per year
  • 8 paid Holidays per year
  • Paid Jury duty leave
  • Paid Bereavement leave (1 to 5 days depending on employee’s relation to the individual)
  • Discretionary Company Profit Sharing Plan
